I found an amusing poll in the staff LJ bulletin entry that we all receive once in a while that I thought was interesting to see. Ignoring the stupid concept for the question of the poll to begin with, since who in the right mind would ban BOOKS anyway, no matter what the content is. In the spirits of following the "censorship" theme occurring all around us lately (or so it seems) and the apparent almost systematic deletion, covering and eradication of someone else's ideas or any other way of self-expression, because some people can't deal with OMG there is other people in this World that HAVE DIFFERENT VIEWS than mine, I bring you this simple and anonymous answers of this POLL. Although some of them say that the banning of books is just WRONG, others just.... STUN me. I don't like Twilight either (even though most of the things stated in that answer are not why I don't like it lol XD), but I wouldn't ban IT. What is wrong with the teacher that said that Romeo and Juliet was a PORN BOOK o_O?! when I went to school it was the most beautiful LOVE STORY OF ALL TIME. It reminds me of a joke about the Wolf and ... Well it is a bit explicit, so maybe I shouldn't say it, because I might be banned or worst XDDD wtf!.
I just wonder what is wrong with today's youth sometimes...
Anyway, enough stupid ranting and without any further ado...:

When it rains it pours... Err... Let's see if I can get thru this post... Today I had to put one of my precious dogs down. He was 15 years old and he was my first dog in the USA. He was my faithful companion thru my college years and thru many adventures. His name was PUNKY (because he was such a rascal and was always getting in trouble). I didn't find his name, his name found him ^_^. He was a natural clown, very intelligent and beautiful. Some people thought he was made out of porcelain, because of his pure white coat and clear black dots... I wanted to do a little homage to my Dalmatian Punky and his stellar life with us. Also I added pictures of his "brother" Shere Khan, a gorgeous show quality Great Dane, that was his friend and our other pride and joy, our other baby... He was very smart (open doors and gates very easily), funny and filled up our lives with happiness. He died a few years back due to complications with bone cancer or osteosarcoma, the worst and most aggressive kind of dog cancer there is. He was such a loving and sweet dog, it is hard to believe that he got such terrible disease. He definitely didn't deserve it :( . He was only 8 years old and left a huge void in our hearts as well.
They'll be missed both, but their memories live in our hearts as well as many videos and pictures. May you rest in Peace my dear puppies T_T.

Yesterday it was my nieces b-day (she turned 3 years old) and my family took lots of pictures and send them to me to make me feel better and share those moments. She is so cute, she makes me smile every time. It also makes me nostalgic sad lol, but I think that is a good sad. Don't you think? I hope it makes all of you smile too. Who doesn't love to see a child enjoy presents, cake and their cute expressions playing with them amongst their family ^_^. I get a kick out of her dressed in the typical regional clothes from Tenerife hehehe.

The lovely Mikaouru has finished, a few days back actually, sorry Mika, I haven't had a lot of time :( I did post it in the DA immediately, but not everywhere else yet. It came out very beautiful, she has wonderful coloring skills (I think I royally suck at coloring lol). I hope you guys love it as much as I did <3333333. ANYWAY ( I am a mess *sigh* ), I AM GLAD I WAS ABLE TO FINISH IT. I AM A BIG FAN OF TONE ON TONE AND MONOCHROMATIC COLORS. I THINK IT SUITS RUKIA THOUGH ^_^. I HOPE YOU LIKE IT.

MIKAORU WAS TALKING TO ME ABOUT KOTO'S IDEA ON DRAWING RUKIA ON THE TRADITIONAL CLOTHES AND HOW THE FANS SHOULD SHARE. THIS WEEKEND I HAD SOME TIME OFF AND I DECIDED TO MAKE ONE FOR HER AS WELL AS FROM MY OWN COUNTRY, SPAIN.  
HERS IS THE WONDERFUL ARGENTINA AND THE TANGO IS THEIR MOST BEAUTIFUL AND TRADITIONAL DANCE. IT IS MEANT TO BE DANCED IN PAIRS AND HAS SUCH PASSION, ELEGANCE AND SENSUALITY ON THEIR MOVEMENTS IT MAKES YOUR HEAD SPIN. IT IS ACTUALLY MY FAVORITE DANCE AND I THINK IT SUITS ICHIRUKI HAHA.
I FINISHED THIS ONE FIRST, BUT I WILL HAVE THE OTHER FINISHED SOON AS WELL.
 I WOULD LIKE TO SHOW THIS ONE FIRST AND MIKAORU WILL COLOR IT IN THE FUTURE ON HER OWN LIKING ^_^.  I AM GLAD I AM BACK DRAWING SOMETHING. THAT DRAWING I MADE TO DEBUT ON THE BLEACH ASYLUM AND SHARED FOR THE FIRST TIME ABOUT A YEAR AGO AND SOME OTHER PERSON IS CLAIMING IS HERS T________________T  WOW!!! MY HEART JUST SUNK AND I AM EXPERIENCING NAUSEA, SPECIALLY AFTER SEEN MY NAME SIGNED ON THE PIECE AND THIS PERSON IS JUST SO HAPPY TO CLAIM THAT IT IS HERS. I WILL SEND HER A NOTE ASAP, BUT IF ANY OF YOU WOULD LIKE TO LET HER KNOW AS WELL THAT YOU KNOW IT IS MINE, I THINK SHE WILL BE CONVINCED A LOT QUICKER AND DROP IT WITHOUT ANY MORE INCIDENT. I just wanted to share some sketches I've been working on, just for fun, while I think about what to do on other projects. It keeps me sharp and I can practice placement (of ears, eyes, nose...) , perspective, hair, etc... They are never really good, they are very rough, but they have some charm. Nothing to write home about XDD. But I hope you like them ^_^.

 Just a few pictures of flowers for Debbie ^_^ and for all to enjoy them. Spring is here XDD. It is raining quite a bit now and I love to go around taking pictures of nature. I am hoping that later this month I can go to the canyon and get some awesome pictures from the wild flowers. There are some pretty meadows and cute flowers by the river and it attracts a ton of hummingbirds. Really beautiful. I'll post some of those later on. Now the cherry trees, apple blossoms, plum blossoms, lilacs, etc... are in full bloom. These ones are Daffodils and I don't know the name of the other two kinds. THe purple ones are gorgeous and the blue ones are some sort of weed, but I love them anyways ^_^.

 Again, I was just bored over the weekend and I worked on some of my drawings. I came up with this one in a spare of the moment. I hope you like it, even though the style is more of the "realistic kind".

 WELL, I MADE A ROUGH SKETCH OF ICHIGO, WHEN I WAS BORED WAITING FOR MY DOGS TO FINISH DOING THEIR "BUSINESS" OUTSIDE IN THE SNOW. I MISS ICHI'S COCKY SMILE. I HOPE THAT IT IS NOT GOING TO TAKE MONTHS BEFORE WE CAN SEE SOME ICHIRUKI MOMENTS. HOPE YOU LIKE IT, EVEN THOUGH IS JUST A ROUGH AND QUICK SKETCH. IS NOT PERFECT HEHEHE. 

 here it is an Ulqui drawing I did a while back and I felt like posting it. I can definitely do better than that, but it was my first time (and it is also mirrored and the scan sucks haha) and I wanted to just practice. 

 Well my friends, I am back at work and I have access, even if it is a bit limited, to the internet. As well you know, my computer at home died completely, I don't think it can be fixed :( it just exhaled its last breath. I have to plan to buy another one and I am poor right now, so I have to be patient and try my best to keep up with everything and everybody. I so missed you guys T_T. I have A LOT OF CATCHING UP TO DO and I will try to read as fast as I can :P 
In the meantime I am going to post this sketch I did while on vacation thinking of Rukia's b-day . It is not a big deal, but I got inspired by something Morita said in an interview of sorts. Something about the "solo" being the kind of song that Ichigo would perform or write with his guitar. I know that is not the kind of guitar Ichigo has in his room, but I quite like acoustic guitars and are more soothing, so I did it that way for the sake of the "mood" and ambiance of this drawing. I have another 2 sketches in the rough around the same idea and others, but this one is the one that looks more finished. I haven't forgotten about other sketches or drawings I have done before, but when I get inspired I can't just put my pencil down and forget about it in favor of other things hahahaha ^_^. That is how it works :P

I FELT QUITE LONELY THESE DAYS, SINCE MY HUSBAND WORKED ALL THROUGHOUT THE HOLIDAYS. I HAD ONLY 2-3 DAYS WITH HIM. NOT HAVING ACCESS TO THE COMPUTER HAS NEARLY KILLED ME X_X. 
It is quite cold and miserable outside. Everything is frozen the roads, the driveways, my stairs to the door, my stepping stones, ... Even my pipes are frozen in my house, specially in the Laundry Room. If it persists I am going to have to go to a laundry mat (I hate those places -___-) . At least I can take showers, but the little pipe that goes into the fridge for me to dispense filtered water isn't pumping any. 
Even my brain is frozen lol, I hope I am making any sense. I didn't sleep at all last night.

 I JUST FELT LIKE WORKING ON THIS SKETCH WHILE SICK, SINCE IT MADE ME FEEL GOOD. I WILL FINISH PAINTING THE OTHER ONE NO WORRIES. I JUST HAVE TO SIT DOWN AND BE INSPIRED TO DO SO WELL. SKETCHES DON'T NEED TO BE "PERFECT" UNTIL YOU DECIDE THEM TO BE ^_^.

 My family sent me this about a week and a half ago and I didn't want to sour anybody's mood more than we all are... But it is hard to ignore. I would like to know what you guys think about this @_@ . It strangely makes sense to me, since we are in the shitty hole we are now, with the economy and all. I heard this stuff before from Randi Rhodes (a liberal radio host) and I also heard it from countless others and the papers called "project for a new American Century" or PNAC, www.informationclearinghouse.info/article1665.htm if I am not recalling it wrong.
